I am currently a Sophomore at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina, but I will be home in Libertyville, Illinois during the summer months. I am double majoring in English Literature and Secondary Education. My current GPA is a 3.1.

Experience

I have a vast number of hours in student teaching and classroom observation thus far, and my experience continues to grow every day (Specifically, I have sat in 1st, 5th, 9th, and 12th grade classrooms). I was a tutor for children (1st-5th grade) at the Community Writing Center in High Point, North Carolina for a semester, where I aided children in their homework assignments and reading/writing comprehension. I am more than experienced to tutor students, of any age range, in English, writing, reading, and core elementary subjects. Simply put, I want to be a tutor so that I can expound on my teaching skills and further my experience as an educator.
